98 Minutes, Released August 2010

Produced and Directed By: Paul Manly

Documentation of the live event, June 25th at Massey Hall in Toronto on the eve of the G20 Summit. Produced in association with Smart Change, the Council of Canadians and the Communications, Energy and Paperworkers union.

This event was documented and edited for the Smart Change - Cable Access Coalition project. The Cable Access Coalition encourages individuals and organizations across Canada to regain access to their ‘community access’ cable stations. The Shout Out for Global Justice was produced to create content to help people realize how easy it is to have access to this community broadcast outlet by giving them a program they could submit. The Shout for Global Justice features powerful speakers who outline the reasons why all citizens should oppose the G20 and it’s elitist corporate agenda. This is information that is valuable to all Canadians.

We are producing a second program from the G20 which consists of short news segments and reflections on the People Summit, the G20, the protests and the attack on civil liberties that saw the largest mass arrest in Canadian history. It features footage and stories produced by The Real News network, the Toronto Video Activist collective, Rabble.tv, the Vancouver Media Coop, Velcrow Ripper and Press for Truth.
