The Winning of the North
10 Minutes 1989
The Winning of The North takes a playful look at negotiations. It suggests parallels between early trade negotiations in which aboriginal people lost power to exercise their right to self-determination and the recent Free Trade negotiations between Canada and the USA. The connections made are implicit rather than explicit.
